I'm having a love/hate relationship with my fringe at the moment. A part of me wants to grow it out and a part of me feels naked without it… I suppose I get the best of both with my hair like this but it's a bit of a bitch to keep in place! I decided to rag curl my hair last night (After watching We'll Take Manhattan and wanting to cut my hair short and wear vintage clothes forever...) but I would never cut my hair so rag curls it was! They make my hair shorter and give it loads of volume and the curls are amazing from something so simple. The only downside is they drop out so fast. Sad face.
I would write a bit more but I'm at my Nanna's house and the internet keeps dropping so I better just keep it short today!

Can I wear these jeans everyday...? I think they're perfect. This is a pretty boring outfit but it's something I wear a lot because the jumper is so comfortable! I haven't really done much today apart from job applications and taking parcels to the post office... pretty sure the guy that works there hates me for sending so many parcels, haha.

I haven't painted my nails properly for ages so I decided to try the whole aztec pattern on them! Would have been a lot easier to do if my Models Own nail pen's brush hadn't fell off in the middle of painting them... trying to draw straight lines with a tiny nib with your wrong hand= hard. I think they came out okay anyway!

I'm usually hesitant when companies email me asking to post their pictures, videos etc on my blog. In fact I've never done it. It just seems a little impersonal to me! This one felt different though... The lovely people at John Frieda asked me to post and try out one of their new 'Style on Demand' videos which show you how to recreate different hairstyles yourself. I've always love the halo plait or milkmaid braid or whatever you want to call it; I used to try it a lot a few years ago, but my hair was too short and it never worked! I thought I'd give it another go now with the help of the John Frieda video and much longer hair...

There's no way my fringe was going into this plait. I look ridiculous with it pulled off my face...
Well this picture was a bit of a challenge. I found the front the hardest and most fiddly because I was trying to avoid plaiting my fringe into it all! This resulted in me missing a bit near my ear, oops. :-(
Almost finished...
Then after I pinned the bottom of the plait around my head it was done!
Ta-da!

I found a little flowery headband that fit perfectly on top of the plait and it kept it in place quite well too...

This took three attempts, the plait was the easiest part, it was the hair at the front that kept messing it up! The first and second time the plait came out perfect but I'd left too much or too little hair out at the front. The third time the plait messed up at the front (you can see in the first and last few pictures!) but it sat perfectly and my fringe looked okay so that one was the one that stayed. I'll give it another go soon; practice makes perfect!Now here's the video so you can try it yourselves, enjoy!

Slightly different hair today! I must have slept on it funny last night or something because my fringe just wouldn't go right today. Probably because it really needs cutting... It feels really weird having a centre parting because I've had a fringe (or a good old myspace side fringe) since I was about 14! I'm sure after a quick trim my huge forehead will be once more covered with hair!

I got instagram today! (@bekahdalee) Well I got it a couple of weeks ago, but my iphone (can I still call it a phone if the whole "phone" part doesn't work?) is normally left in the bottom of my bag for weeks on end because well, it doesn't really work. Decided to start using it again for angry birds and photo taking purposes and because I realised my blackberry is nothing compared to my beloved, broken iphone... x

Had a walk around the local park yesterday evening with Robbie, we took loads of photos but when I got home and looked through most of them were blurry! It was pretty much dark while we were there so at least some worked out. I need to learn how to use my cameras manual setting... I love the park but it always makes me sad that I don't live in the beautiful houses opposite, maybe one day! (I wish.)

Zalando very kindly sent me these lovely shoes a few weeks ago. I've wanted a pair like this for ages (Remember these Vivienne Westwood beauties?) so when these arrived I was chuffed! They're so comfy and I can't wait till summer so I can wear them with a nice dress and bare legs.

Was going to spend my day being productive but I've been sat in bed with a headache all day, weep! It'll have to be done tomorrow instead. :-( Hope you all had a good weekend! x

Christmas Presents!

1. How adorable are the cat ring holders, they have little bells and everything! Now I just need more rings to fill them up...
2&3. After hearing nothing but good things about Liz Earle's Cleanse and polish I decided to see what it would do to my terrible skin. I ordered a little try-me kit and my skin actually ended up better by the time they had ran out. Eeep! This was the only thing I could think of that I wanted for Christmas so my Mum got me the full sized ones and they came with a little body try-me kit too! I wasn't too fussed about the body things but after using the body scrub and body cream (Haven't tried the others yet!) I am sold. I was so skeptical about the body cream; I have awfully dry skin and bits of eczema that are so hard to get rid of so I didn't want to use anything but my trusty cocoa butter. I tried this on a whim a couple of nights ago and a bit of eczema I've been trying to clear for months has virtually gone...amazing! This is starting to look reasonable...
4. I'm sure most of the UK was gutted when E4 stopped showing friends every weekday...I used to watch it every night without fail after I got home from school when I was younger! I've always wanted this box set but never got round to buying it because it was always on TV. I was so excited when I opened this I actually broke the box... (Sorry Robbie!) Plus it's amazing how much they cut out for daytime(ish) TV, I've missed so much!
5. I used to be one of those weird obsessive Mighty Boosh fans when I was 14/15 so this Noel Fielding book is right up my street, haha. I've only flicked through this so I need to go through it properly tonight! Also, the cover is really... cushion-y. Weird! Anyone with this will probably see what I mean, haha.
6. Got these with a Boots voucher Robbie's Mum got me! I posted a picture with the silver one yesterday, I can't wait to try the Magenta Pearl one next!

Wow, probably the most I've ever wrote on here, I hope I didn't bore you all! I really didn't mean to write so much about the Liz Earle things because you've all probably heard it before but I couldn't help myself, haha. Going to go and end the fun of Christmas now by taking down the Christmas tree, sob! x

I love this jumper so much but it's hand wash only so it always ends up at the bottom of the washing basket with a few other jumpers and cloths I love. (Why are all the best cloths such a pain to wash?!) Anyway, stupid me hadn't realised there's actually a hand wash setting on our washing machine so now all my favourite things are back hung up clean in my wardrobe. Yay! Might risk putting my favourite dry clean only silk TBA dress in there next! Rufus has already ripped it anyways...

Only 1 week till Christmas! I can't believe how fast this year has gone! I've actually done most of my Christmas shopping and not left it till last minute like I normally do so now I just want this week to hurry! Eeek!

It's so windy today! I was parked up in my car by the sea earlier today with Robbie eating McDonalds (classy) and I actually thought the car was about to blow over! The only thing I like about the wind is watching birds try to fly in the opposite direction and going nowhere. Does anyone else find that remotely funny or is it just me...?

Love sent me this lovely midi dress a couple of weeks ago! Not something I'd usually wear (I'm a bit too short for midi dresses, they look slightly weird on me!) but I really like this dress anyway. I haven't had a chance to properly wear it yet and probably wont till spring now because it's freezing and midi dresses/skirts with tights don't really go...

I've always been under the impression that redheads can't wear red. Apparently red clothes and ginger hair will clash... I can't even remember who or what told me that I could never wear red but I seem to have stuck with it for years and shoved away anything red like I wasn't allowed to wear it!
It was only earlier this year I tried on a gorgeous red topshop dress (that was sadly out of my price range) and decided that that this "rule" was in fact bullshit. (I had to..)

Anyways... When AX Paris very kindly offered to send me a dress of my choice I decided to choose something red! Not the most flattering of pictures today as the lighting was pretty bad in my room when I took these but they'll do!

I was recently invited to take part in Voucher Codes's 'A Day In a Dress' challenge. Basically you wear a party dress for a day and see how it holds up! I chose this dress from New Look. I know it's not necessarily a ~party dress~ but it's something I would wear to a party and something I could wear during the day too which is what I like!

I was a little bit disappointed when I got the dress because I imagined it to be a nice thick cotton judging from the pictures and it was polyester. (I should have noticed it said 100% polyester in the description...) The static electricity it caused made the dress cling to me which is something I can't stand!
I decided to wear in on Friday as that is when I'm most busy but after a few minutes in the dress the static electricity was bothering me so much I ended up angrily taking the dress off in some sort of furious static charged rage, threw on a jumper and trusty denim shorts and got on with my day.

Sunday came around and I decided to give the dress another go. I expected the crackling sound of the static but instead the dress just slipped on and stayed like that! No clinging and no fear of touching anything metal, hooray! (I promise to stop talking about static electricity now...) It held up pretty well all day and the material didn't bother me one bit. I was expecting to be freezing as it is quite thin but it actually kept me quite warm, it's well made and fits me really well. The price (£29.99) is reasonable too.
All in all a nice dress but I can't help but think how much better it would be if it was made from cotton or wool!

Today I made macaroons! I've been dying to attempt to make them for ages but never actually got around to doing it. I had nothing to do today so I decided to give them a go! I wasn't really expecting them to work but they turned out okay. A few had cracked and they weren't perfectly round but I'm really pleased with them. Plus they are delicious... I can't wait to make more and play around with different flavours and colours!

Received this shirt from Romwe last week along with a few other things I'll show you all later. :-) I love it so much! I'm so picky with shirts; I always think they're too baggy, too easily creased or just a pain to wear but this one is perfect. I wore this to Durham last Saturday, I took a few outfit pictures but the light was all wrong! Sad face.

Robbie and I walked up to the Cathedral and sat on the grass eating ice-cream and chocolate orange fudge we got at a little stall. It was so gooood. My mouth is drooling thinking about it. I should have taken more pictures but I was more interested in eating the fudge instead. (Sorry!)

Wasn't last week amazing? I don't know where that weather came from but I'd like it to come back! I got a chance to wear my lovely Motel dress (and too much factor 50 suncream) one last time before the cold weather forces me to wear a coat. Robbie and I sat on a field and ate fish and chips and lots of sweets. :-) We went to Durham on Saturday and Monday was my Mum's 50th which is why I haven't posted much! I'll post pictures from then tomorrow. :-)

I think I'll do that nail thing I mentioned in the last post! I just need to buy the things and I'll get it set up. I'll also post the cookie dough recipe I promised ages ago soon! I wish I wasn't such a procrastinator...

Spent the day in Middlesbrough today. My Mum had to go there so we decided to have a look around the shops, but after 2 hours of pushing her around and finding nothing to buy we decided to give up, go home and eat ice cream and chocolate with a load of raspberries. (omnomnom)
This lovely necklace was sent to me by Zara Taylor. I love the fact it is actually a tiny little magnifying glass! Her jewellery is so nice, you should all have a look. :-)
I had an idea the other day! I love painting my nails and people seem to like them so I was wondering if I painted some false nails would any of you buy them? It would give me something to do and Robbie and I are going to Stockholm in December (yay) so I need to save a some money up!

This dress is really nice in real life but I just couldn't get a good photo of it (probably should have ironed it first, but I flipping hate irons) it either looked like a bin bag or made me look pregnant. -_- I'll try and capture all it's glory another time! I know I write this all the time but I'm sorry I'm not blogging very much. I keep trying to take pictures but they come out all wrong. I feel like my face has changed, I look really weird! First of all I want to apologise for not blogging for about 2 weeks! My Macbook charger decided to actually set on fire (omg) so I didn't have any way of posting. Sorry!
Love sent me this dress last week! I have pretty much worn it all of the time, It really is so, so nice. I also had the postman drop off a parcel from Romwe this morning with this bag inside. Let's face it, I will never be able to afford a PS1 (and would never pay £1500+ for a bag anyway...) so when I saw this I knew I had to have it!

In other news today is my birthday! I haven't really done anything to be honest, I'm just going to go to Robbie's house after he's finished work and eat chicken, haha. I got a lovely gift box from Lush from Robbie's sister Jodie (thank you!) and a couple of things for baking from my Mum's cousin. (or whatever relation that makes her to me,haha) which were nice. I wasn't expecting anything so I was chuffed, haha.

I saw a top exactly like this is Topshop when I was in Durham a few weeks ago and was immediately drawn to it... Until I looked at the price. I think it was £36?! Insane. So I went to the charity shop down the street and picked up a grey jumper and a shirt with a collar for £5, took it home and sewed the collar on and it's basically the same. Voila!

I took this picture on Friday at my Nanna's house. I look pretty miserable but it's the only picture I took! I go there every Friday and just end up lazing around, eating all of her biscuits and doing all of the sudoku puzzles in her TV magazine. :-) I love it.

Right! I'm going to spend the rest of my day driving around in the courtesy car I've been given while my car is in for service. I am not letting the £10 petrol I just put in it go to waste. >:(

Models Own Beth's Blue, MAC Studio Sculpt in NC15, Models Own Pink Fizz, MAC Studio Fix in NC15.

Decided I'd try MAC's Studio Sculpt foundation instead of my usual Studio Fix (Still bought a new one just in case!) this is the first time I've used it, it was a bit fiddly to blend but it seems to looks better on my skin than Studio Fix. Yay.

I've never actually tried any Models Own nail polishes until now. I always look on their website, always see loads I want and never get round to actually ordering anything. I was in River Island the other day looking for a new swimsuit (I left my old one in the changing room of the swimming pool, silly me!) and found these nail polishes instead. I LOVE THEM. They haven't chipped at all, not even a teeny bit. I can't stop staring at the pink glittery nails and the lilac-y blue of the other colour is perfect.

Would anyone like me to post the cookie dough recipe from a few posts ago? Then I have another excuse to make it, ha.

Oh god, you know what I've been sat here for 10 minutes trying to type something but this room is SO HOT I can't even make any sense. I might just go jump into the sea.

I found these shorts in a charity shop last week and just knew I had to have them. My taste in clothes has changed recently and these are far too child-like (Probably because they're from the children's section..) but who cares, they're adorable.

Today me and Bethany went to a car boot sale in Seaham. It was huge and we thought we'd find some really good stuff but we ended up leaving empty handed. :-( Maybe next time! We're going to Pizza Hut soon so that should make up for earlier, aha. Hope you all had a good weekend. :-)

Sorry for not updating recently again, I just feel a bit distant from this blog. When I look back on my older post I don't really feel like the same person anymore. I promise I will try harder to keep updating. Still need my camera lens but I just added some more things on Ebay so hopefully those will pay for it.

You know the hot cookie dough you get from Pizza Hut. Well I really wanted it but couldn't be bothered to actually go to Pizza Hut. So I just made it myself. Mmmmm.

So I finally decided I would take blog pictures and...I can't find my remote anywhere! Self timer just doesn't focus so I've resorted to photobooth in my Mam's room. Excuse the chair on the bed and other general mess. The room has sort of turned into a junk room as my Mam will not go to bed! She's been in her room about 10 times in 3 years. :| (which is SO irritating because I paid for all the furniture and spent ages decorating it...never mind!)

In my rubbish skin news: It's still crap BUT I've been eating healthy and drinking lots of water and the good skin is in better condition than before. yay.

I downloaded some lomo app for my phone and have took loads of pictures, I thought it might be a good idea if I posted pictures from my week (every week) on here. Thought I'd ask for feedback first 'cause I don't want my blog to get any worse...

I'm currently sat on the floor in our hallway with the cats (no idea why) Robbie is asleep in my bed and my Mam is in one of her monthly bank statement moods where she screams at me for everything I've ever done, hahaha. Sorry for not posting very much this week. I hate this time of year! Everything so miserable and I just want it to be summer. I've just been wearing boring jeans and jumpers all week because it's so cold but I thought I'd take pictures in this dress as it's kind of new. :-) The only thing I hate about it is if I eat anything remotely greasy it gets grease marks allover it. ;| You can see some in the pictures from some brownies I ate earlier, hahaha.

Ordered a few things from Topshop which arrived today! The shoes I'm wearing are my favorite thing, even though the photos I took trying to show them off just ended up not working...(should really take my photos somewhere more interesting than my back garden...I might pluck up the courage to let Robbie take some decent ones, aha.) I got this hairband too, I didn't think the flowers would be THAT big in real life, but oh well! Don't know if I dare wear it outside of my garden, I might use it as a belt instead, haha. 'Cause it's so ridiculous I decided to just wear boring jeans and a t-shirt to tone it down a bit, aha.

Spent my day walking round Pets At Home with Robbie wanting to take every animal in there back home with me...I think I might get a big fish tank for my bedroom, I could sit and watch them for hours! After we left we went to his Nanna's house for the afternoon and drank lots of tea. :-)

Can't believe I've made £149 so far on Ebay, I only listed 12 things for 99p each; I'm amazed! Thank you if any of you bought something! I'll be listing more stuff over the weekend. :-)

I was rushing to take these pictures this afternoon, it was just about to get dark and I didn't want to take them earlier because my next door neighbour was going in and out and I would have died of embarrassment if he saw me taking pictures of myself, haha. Just a simple outfit today, all I've done is housework...the Christmas tree is down too and now the room looks really bare. ;( I found this jumper in Dorothy Perkins while I was looking for a jumper my Mam had been banging on about for months and I couldn't resist buying it, it's prefect! Well actually it's a tiny bit too long, but I'll live!

I was walking to the shop earlier and a horse just ran past me, haha! There was loads of drama because nothing even happens in this village...2 had escaped from somewhere and were just running around with an ambulance chasing them, and the people in the ambulance jumping out and chasing them in circles. It was pretty amusing, ahaha. I don't know what use an ambulance would have been for the horses but it was there anyway...

I'm just going to sit around now and eat Malteaser Bunnies (Yes, they are selling Malteaser Bunnies in January, aha.) until 8 when I'm going to Robbie's house for the night. :-)

I don't even know if I suit it...but I found it in Oxfam for £1 and I couldn't resist the bargain! I think I need to grow a few inches or wear huge heels for it to work. I hate being so short! I also need to take it in a lot as it's 3 sizes too big. ;(

Sorry for not posting much over Christmas and New Year. I haven't really had the chance! Plus I've been ill with some sort of flu and I had a pretty terrible day yesterday (well Monday, as it's technically Wednesday) but everything is okay now! :-) I want to relax and sleep but earlier one of the cats managed to turn the gas cooker on and it leaked gas for about 10 minutes before I noticed. (stupid blocked nose!) Now I'm paranoid they'll do it again and the house will blow up while I sleep. ;|

Oh dear, I thought my days of entire Topshop outfits were over! I didn't realise till just now, haha. I got this lovely jumper in the sale a few days ago at the Metro Centre, I was going to order it for Christmas but I'm glad I didn't cause I saved £20! Yay. I ended up spending the rest of my shopping time drooling over some Jil Sander shoes in Tkmaxx, I almost bought them but I realised I'd probably never wear them...So I went to Ikea instead and got a bookcase, a table, new bed covers, a little tea light lantern then a chair and some rolls of paper for Robbie and spent £50 less that I would have on the shoes! Plus I got to assemble everything which is my idea of a brilliant time. I love putting up Ikea furniture! ahaha.

Quite a long post today cause I haven't posted for a while! Couldn't do an outfit post though because my tripod is at home. I've just been at my Nanna's house over Christmas, I got a lovely YSL ring, and a few things from topshop. :-) Robbie got me the reindeer teddy because I thought it was adorable, aha. I did the usual on Christmas day; ate too much, then built a snowman, ha. I'm just sat with a lot of my family now, my cousins brought his baby over and everyone is fascinated, haha. Just threw on something casual today as I had to get up early to take Rufus to the vets. The orange top looks really orange in the pictures but I don't think it's that bad in real life, aha.

Rufus is all sad and sleepy after his operation, and he's not allowed to eat anything till tomorrow which is probably making him even more depressed, aha. My other cat Jack is all happy now 'cause Rufus isn't chasing him around trying to play with him and he can sleep as much as he wants. :-)

Other than that I haven't done much today! Robbie is asleep beside me while I write this and when he wakes up I'm going to go to the shop to get some food (Even though we went to McDonalds earlier, aha.) I think I better cut my fringe later too, it grows so fast!

This is one of the dresses I got from a charity shop last Friday. I loveee it but it's a little bit too short. I wore shorts underneath just in case! The other dress I got is so lovley, it's a mint green colour with gorgeous buttons and a midi length pleated skirt. I'm a bit scared to wear it 'cause I'm pretty short so I'm not sure the length would suit me...I might wear it before the snow comes back if I'm brave! I know you're all probably sick of pictures of my nails now, so I won't take anymore unless I do them a different colour or pattern, haha.

I'm taking Rufus to the vets again tomorrow to get his boy parts removed, aha. I feel really bad because he's running around all happy and he has no idea whats going to happen tomorrow, the poor thing!

I've had quite a lot of people asking how I did my nails in the last post so I thought I'd show you all how I did it! I basically got the technique from this video, and then used the colours from this picture. I though purple would work better so the tutorial is with purples instead of greens and blues. (If you look at pictures of nebulars purple is usually the more dominant colour.) I know a video would be easier to follow but I don't have a good video camera and I have a horrible accent, so this will have to do! This is going to be quite long so if you want to see how I did it click the read more link below!

Okay, for these nails I used 7 polish's (A lot I know!) but I suppose you could do it with about 3 or 4. You'll also need some kitchen roll or a bit of sponge to do the colour gradients. :-)

The basic colours I used.

Step 1: First start with the base colour, any dark colour will do but black matte would work best. I used a black polish with Topshop's matte topcoat.

Step 2: After the base colour has dried you can start with the good colours! Start with the darkest colour and use a bit of kitchen roll (like this) or sponge and dab it on from halfway up the nail to the top. It doesn't matter if it's not even or neat!

Steps in pictures: (Click to make them bigger)

(sorry for the bad quality, it's really hard to manually focus when the hand you use to focus is what you're taking a picture of!)

Step 3: Repeat step 2, getting further up the nail the lighter the colours get. At this point it all looks a bit messy but don't give up because it will all look good in the end! I also added a few dots of green and yellow which made all the difference in my opinion! Just add a few dots using the brush from the nail varnish, wait till it's half-dried and dab it with the kitchen roll to blend it in.

Step 4: Once the colours have dried use a glittery topcoat to give the effect of stars. I found this NYC glittery polish for £1.99 at Superdrug. It works really well with these nails and it's cheap!

So that's how it's done! It's really simple once you get the hang of it. :-) Hope this was some help!

I went to Sunderland yesterday with Robbie to do a bit of shopping. It's really good for charity shop and we always find something good! I found a top and two dresses, and I got the dress I'm wearing today from H&M. :-) I'll take better pictures of it soon! (The lighting was really bad today and I couldn't get a decent outfit picture) The snow has disappeared now so I can go back to wearing a normal amount of clothes, hurray!

I came across a few pictures of 'space nails' the other day so I thought I'd give them a go, I think they turned out good! I'm getting a bit obsessed now though and keep shouting SPACE NAILS at everyone I talk to while shoving my hand in their face, ahaha. I can't stop staring at them! When they chip I think I'm going to try it again with more purple colours, I think it'll look better purple. :-)

I've been sat here for about 5 minutes thinking of something to write about other than the snow, haha. It's still here and It's still very cold! I took these photos yesterday, I haven't done much today, but I have finally put the Christmas tree up!

I got my £500 of backdated carers allowance a few days ago so I've done almost all of my Christmas shopping and I got a few things for a giveaway for the blog. :-) I'll post the details etc once they arrive!

I spent ages doing my nails earlier and even though they aren't perfect I was quite pleased...until I read a letter sent to me by the dentist with details of my appointment tomorrow saying I must take off any nail polish. FML. ;| Oh well, I can do them again tomorrow! I'm going under sedation so I'm not allowed to drive, make food...even boil the kettle for 24 hours! Sad face.

I can't stop wearing this coat! It's so warm and soft and it's sooo cold outside I never want to take it off, aha. I have a faux fur tippet from ASOS that is a similar colour and texture but I haven't had a chance to wear yet it because Rufus keep stealing and attacking it. ;|

Here's the other dress Club Couture sent me. :-) I love it but I'm not very gifted in the chest area so it's a bit baggy at the front, aha. I put these frames up on my bedroom wall today, most of them are empty but I'm going to paint pictures for them when I get round to it. :-)

It's still really snowy outside and we've has thundersnow for the past three days in a row. Ahh! I'm terrified of thunder and lightning. :-( I'm so glad it hasn't been very close because people said it was the loudest thunder they ever heard, I would have died, hahaha.

Tomorrow is December which means the Christmas tree is going up and my advent callender is coming out of the cupboard and going on my wall! I'm such a big kid I still get really excited for Christmas, aha. Plus Rufus will go insane at the sight of a Christmas tree which will be hilarious!

I'm sure everyone in the UK knows about the crazy amount of snow that has fallen in the past few days, especially in the North East where I live...so I wrapped up very warm today! Everyone seems to be getting annoyed at it now but I'm still jumping up and down like a 7 year old at the sight of it, aha. The only bad thing is driving in it, I almost crashed into a fence in my street yesterday; but I was only driving at about 2mph so it was more amusing than frighting! I'm going to make a snowman later, aha. :-D

Club Couture sent me this dress earlier this week! I didn't think their style of clothing was really 'me' but I had a good look through their website and found quite a few really nice dresses! I ended up picking the one in the pictures and this one because I knew I would wear them all the time and they go well with a lot of things I already own. So I didn't get the job at New Look in the end! I'm not really upset about it because I had already figured out that I hadn't got it, but just to add insult to injury they didn't pay the correct postage on the letter they sent so I had to go all the way to the Royal Mail depot to pay £1.10 just to find out, Ha! Well I actually didn't end up paying the £1.10 because I only had my bank card on me and they only took cash, so the woman just let me have it...which is probably why I'm more amused than pissed off about it, aha.

Due to the weather I obviously didn't wear this today! It's so, so cold! So I'm going to do an outfit post later on too. :-)

Don't know what I was doing in the last photo, I'm very bored today and I was trying to amuse myself, aha. I love this dress! I bought it at the beginning of the year for my Nanna's 90th birthday party but haven't really worn it since because its 100% silk and I'm scared I'll ruin it! I love everything tba make, I wish I could afford it all. ;(

I literally have nothing else to write about...I haven't heard back from New Look so I'm guessing I didn't get the job. :( Just going to have to keep trying!

I got this skirt from ASOS when I bought the peter-pan collar dress I wore in the last post, I really loved it on the website but I think it looks a bit weird on me. Never mind I'm still going to wear it!

My Mam is in a huge huff with me because I "answered the phone while I was driving AND THAT'S ILLEGAL" ahaha. I had already pulled over and stopped the car before I answered it but you know... -_- So basically she screamed at me in the middle of my Nanna's street for absolutely no reason. Sigh! I can't win with her, aha.

I went to Hartlepool and bought a lovley new bag, cardigan and really disgustingly good purple velvet shirt, haha. The joys of charity shops! I got a faux fur coat too but it's a little too big on me so I think I'm just going to sell it on eBay. :-(

Now I'm going to go to Robbie's house to watch TV all night. :-)

I realise everyone and their dog has this dress, but it's just too lovely to not like! I've been wanting it for ages but ASOS clothes are stupidly long on me. Anyway I saw it came out in their petite range so I snapped it up, aha.
I found these boots on eBay, I don't think I can describe how perfect they are...I don't want to take them off! This is actually yesterday's outfit but I didn't get a chance to post so I'm going to do another little post tonight too. :-) Now I'm off to take my Mam to my Nanna's house then I'm going to have a look around the shops in Hartlepool!

No one has really taken any notice of my make-up, but I thought I'd post about it anyways, haha. (I was going to do a usual outfit post but I ended up in jeans a a t-shirt all day. Not good...)

So here's my make-up! I have other stuff but this is what I'd usually wear everyday. :-)
1: Gosh Velvet Touch Primer, Illamasqua Rich Liquid Foundation in 105, MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC15, Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light, Concealer in NW15, Mineralize Blush in Dainty.

2: Fluidline in Blacktrack, Eyeshadows in Shroom, Omega and Corduroy, Pro Lash Mascara in Coal Black.

3: Sigma Complete kit with brush roll.

I needed some new make-up brushes because Rufus chewed all my old ones up, I was going to save and get MAC ones, but after a bit of research I decided to get Sigma brushes instead. I'd only heard good things about their brushes and they are much cheaper than MAC ones, I'm so pleased with them! They work so well. I literally spend hours cleaning and caressing them, hahaha.

I've finally found the perfect pair of ankle boots! I've been searching for ages, but I've never been able to find a pair that were perfect. I saw these on ASOS a few weeks ago but I was a bit reluctant to pay the £70 price tag, then I found them on eBay for around £35! Hurray! Unfortunately I can't wear them for a while because I've really hurt my foot and I'm currently limping everywhere, aha.

I've changed my blog URL from disfordangerousx.blogspot.com to disfordangerous.co.uk! I hated the old one, the annoying x at the end was irritating me but 'disfordangerous' was never available...So I just bought one instead, aha. I'm not sure if the change effects the blog feed from the blogger reader or Bloglovin' so please tell me if you can see this post in a feed if you follow me! I've emailed Bloglovin' to ask them to change the URL on my account so hopefully their users will be okay. :-) If my feed doesn't come up on the blogger feed just re-follow the new URL and it should be okay!

These pictures are from yesterday, I found this gorgeous vintage dress on Ebay (I think I have an Ebay problem, I can't stop buying thing on there!) I found the scarf there too, it is without a doubt the warmest scarf in the world. It's really big though, I don't know if it looks too big or I'm just being a bit paranoid, aha.

I had my interview at New Look yesterday, I was soo nervous and I think I messed it up. My mind kept going blank and I kept muddling my words up, and she asked me what I really liked in there recently and I haven't been in for months due to lack of money, so i was just like "Eeeer...I like the tights here..." ahaha -_-. I still really hope I get the job though, every other shop near me is really bad, haha. Fingers crossed!

Sorry I haven't updated this week, I've been busy re-decorating my bedroom, it's almost done now, I just need to find things for my walls cause they're really bare. ;( My new bookcase is my favorite part!

I was browsing Ebay the other day when I came across these Miu Miu flats, they were only up for £95 with no bids, so I couldn't resist bidding. I was soo happy when I won them, they are so perfect!

I couldn't resist posting the last picture, it's too cute! Rufus looks like he's waving, ahaha.

Me and Robbie went to Durham yesterday. We walked along the riverside for a bit, then we had a look around the shops and when everywhere had closed we went and got hot chocolates from esquires. :-)

I ordered these rings from eBay on Monday. They're so nice! there was 12 altogether but some of them are a little too big. Never mind!

I'm going to do an outfit post tonight, sorry I haven't updated much this week, I haven't really had a chance!

Here's the blazer I found! I wasn't going to keep it when I saw it, I was just going to sell it. But I tried it on and it fit me perfectly! Plus it was only £10.

I saw this jumper (3rd picture) the other day while I was wandering around Asda of all places, it's really nice! I got a few things from Superdrug today too (4th picture). I tripped over while I was there, I was so embarrassed. I hope nobody saw, hahaha.

Yesterday I went round the shops in Hartlepool. I only went 'cause I wanted some shorts and a skirt from River Island, but when I got there I couldn't find them. :( I did try on the softest coat ever. It was sooo nice, but a bit too expensive. I might save up for it, aha.

I also found a Moschino blazer in a charity shop for £10! It came with a skirt too but I don't like it. But still...£10!

Took these pictures yesterday but I didn't get a chance to post them, I kept falling asleep all day, aha.

I've lost the little thing that attaches to the bottom of my camera so it fits onto my tripod, so I've been sort of balancing my camera on the top of my tripod till I find it. I hope I find it soon because I can see myself knocking it off and breaking it. :(

I've took some suggestions into consideration for the blog, such as a what to wear post, recent purchases and wishlist of things I want. I'm not too sure an the first two, I'll give them a go though! I know the recent purchases would be easy, but I haven't bought something new in sooo long. But when I get something I'll post! As for the wishlist...I have one about a mile long, aha. I'll post that soon!

If anyone else has some suggestions I'll be happy to try them! I can think of a few myself but I'd rather my readers came up with them as you are the ones reading my blog...if that makes any sense, haha.

I took these pictures yesterday, in the morning the weather perked up and it was warm enough for one of my favorite dresses. I cant really wear it with tights (Far too much black, aha.) and it looks a bit weird with a jacket too so I hardly ever get a chance to wear it, aha. But then it started to rain and it went all cold so I ended up in a jumper and jeans by the afternoon. ;(
